This means for every 100 visitors, one person buys. You can do a lot to make this number higher. Your products, your current marketing techniques – all of this factors into how well they convert. It is important to include Post Script or PS in your sales letter, something most newbie copywriters leave out. The reason the simple PS matters is that is one thing that just about all people will read. Most people run to the PS, scrolling down past all of the sales copy to see what they have to offer. Anyone that skips large chunks of your sales copy needs to read something – so put a PS in! It is not necessary to be specific – just make a veiled reference to something that they want to know about. Whatever you are referencing must be something worth having. People are curious by nature, and by not mentioning exactly what you’re talking about, they will have to search for it.

It’s important to understand some things about your audience if you really want to be any sort of success with them. What you need to know, more than anything else, is what makes them tick, compels them to act and what they are actually concerned about. This means that you need to have understanding that is both clear and accurate. As you can see, this is the only way that you’ll be able to reach them.

When you know them, then you will be able to give them what they want the most. You will be able to talk to them in whatever way they understand the most and identify with the most.

There are all sorts of different approaches and strategies that you can use with your bullet points. One of the most powerful effects you can have on someone is through telling them what the result is of the experience they are about to have. Readers want to know what they can expect from different things. When you give this to them by telling them what to expect, you’ll create a very positive effect. The primary focus is the end result–the end result of whatever subject about which they are reading. If you’re writing about a product or a service you can list out as many of the benefits as you need. Try to void making a long list of lots of benefits that all have the same kind of structure. If your articles or writing ability are not where you want them to be, then decide to remedy the situation. You need to make a sincere mental decision to get this done. Build on the basics after first mastering those. When you understand what needs to be done, the rules of the game, then you can branch out from that and become a better article writer.
